    Vielen Dank für die Aufnahme 💪 Was ich ehrlich gesagt nicht verstehe warum man nicht von Heslach über Marienplatz, Charlottenplatz und Mineralbäder direkt nach Cannstatt gefahren ist? Warum der Umweg über Vaihingen?

      Das Museum hat keinen Anschluss an das Normalspurnetz, sodass der Zug mit einem LKW transportiert werden musste. Weder in Heslach, noch in Bad Cannstatt wäre für das Verladen genügend Platz gewesen, daher musste man den Umweg über die Hauptwerkstatt nehmen.

      Metro trains of this type were delivered to many cities in the former soviet union and their allied countries, including Moscow, Warsaw, Budapest, Sofia... They were delivered directly to Warsaw, but the trains in Moscow are almost identical.

    Danke für dieses tolle Video. Mich betrübt, dass mit Umstellung weg von der Meterspur enge Kurvenradien, also Linien im gebauten Stadtbild unwiderbringlich für immer verloren sind. Ich bin aber gespannt wie die Entwicklung Richtung Ludwigsburg weitergehen wird, die ja auch in den kommenden 10 Jahren eine eigene Stadtbahn, die LUCIE, bauen wollen.

    Sehr schönes Video mit typischen B-Wagen. Bei der Modernisierung der Züge hätte man allerdings auf den billigen Plastikdeckel an der Front verzichten sollen. Wie etwa bei Min. 7.40 im Video zu sehen verunstaltet das Teil die Front nur, sieht wie nachträglich ''drangepappt'' aus !! Sehr schön dagegen das der Führerstand nun auch von außen durch eine separate Tür fürs Fahrpersonal zugänglich ist .

    Das Video passt ja zum Kanalnamen, denn es behandelt die Strecke der SSB. Ja, auch in Bonn gibt es ein Verkehrsunternehmen mit dem Namen SSB. Das Unternehmen „Elektrische Bahnen der Stadt Bonn und des Rhein-Sieg-Kreises“ (Die Abkürzung bezieht sich auf die beiden Strecken, die es immer noch betreibt, nämlich Siegburger und Siebengebirgsbahn. Heutzutage hat die SSB kein eigenes Fahrpersonal mehr, ihr gehören aber die Strecken und einige der Bonner Stadtbahnwagen. Das Fahrpersonal wird von den SWB gestellt.     3008, der an der Uni hatte leider einen sehr schweren Unfall mit entgleisung am Hauptbahnhof was auch zu seiner Verschrottung führte. Aber sehr nettr Eindrücke, weiter so 🥰

      They were buit in, with the intention, that the vehicles could be used as bi-directional vehicles in case of construction sites. However this was seldomly used and now the dores are not working and partially covered.
